What We Do
In recent years CCD (Colony Collapse dissorder), or as the media calls it „mysterious disappearance of bees“ has became a real threath to bees all around the world. It is the main cause of the disappearance of bees worldwide.
CCD is a dissorder that is mostly caused by parasites, pesticides and monocultures. Because of this, colonies of bees need constant supervision, but a great number of beekeepers have to leave their bees alone for a while. It often happens that hive is invaded by pests, damaged or even completely destroyed. Our Idea is to connect bees with their beekeepers via beehive frame.
About The Idea
The Mission
The lack of contact between bees and beekeepers is something that our product will compensate. Our product is a hive frame named Smart Bee Box. The frame has the role of informing beekeepers of the current state of his bee colonies.
THE VISION
Using various sensors, our beehive, gathers data and sends it to the beekeper via internet. It offers a high level of security, because if the beekeeper knows what is going on in the hive, he knows whether he should come and react before the possible damage occurs. Our vision is to preserve bees and increase their numbers. We want to help and cooparate with our beloved beekeepers!
